Hey there!Yesterday I posted a new video:The NUMBER ONE Skill to Build a Multi-million Dollar Business [w/ Alex Lieberman & Naval Ravikant]📝 The following were my Notes…👇 Alex Lieberman 👇- Learn to Sell (and to sell Yourself)• It has a positive impact in your professional and personal life. "Learn to sell. Learn to build. If you can do both, you will beunstoppable." - Naval Ravikant - Good Storytelling -- Builds Natural Selling- How to improve these skills?1)Understanding the fundamentals of (good) Story-telling:• * Learn the Formulas to create a captivating story....* e.g./ The hero on a journey. He experiences a challenge on the journey. He overcomes the adversities of the challenge. He reaches his goal.** Study the best story-tellers and their formulas2) Practice and Shadowing• Iteration + Feedback = Improvement(Similar to Ray Dalio's Success formula: Pain/Failure + Reflection = Success)• Good practice: Record the pitches.** To identify what worked, what didn't worked...👇 Naval Ravikant 👇- Sales Skills:• It can be trained:• * Through books...(read Robert Cialdini's books)** Sales Seminars, Learn on-the-job.• Natural Sales People...** Likely developed in childhood** Or...Gifted Genes. 📝 The following were my Ending Reflections…The 7 Principles of Persuasion by Robert Cialdini:1) ReciprocityWhen someone gives us something, we like to reciprocate and give something too. 2) ScarcityThe less of something there is, the more people tend to want it. (this might be why fashion luxury brands just literally burn their unsold inventory...)3) AuthorityPeople who are experts in a given field are more influential and persuasive than people who are not experts (for that field). 4) Commitment & Consistency. Humans tend to be consistent with their self-image and beliefs. e.g./ If I consider myself a healthy person, I will tend to do healthy stuff. To influence over someone, make him do something small that is related with what you want him to actually do. The more small things you give him, the more he adopts a certain identity, which makes him more likely to make the big thing (the event you actually want him to do). 5) Liking. One is more influenced by someone he likes. 6) Social Proof. We are more likely to buy into something that has more popularity or social approval. We are social by nature. 7) UnityWe are more influenced by people that we feel are "one of us". People that share an identity with us. So, make the person feel like you are one of his/her tribe.🔶 If this content was valuable to you, consider supporting the channel :)https://www.buymeacoffee.com/pickingnuggetsUntil next time,Julio xx
